Academics on Medium — Aug 12th

I’ll be part of a discussion about the pros and cons of academics using Medium on Aug 12th during Medium Day.

I will be participating in a panel about how academics can use this platform during Medium Day, Saturday August 12, 2023, 2:00–2:45PM

Medium Day panel: The Professors Are In: How Medium Can Help Academics Spread Their Ideas and Build Their Followings

The panel will be hosted by Joel Abrams, director of digital strategy at The Conversation US, and will also include Enrique Dans, professor of innovation at IE University and Catherine Sanderson, professor of psychology at Amherst College.

We will discuss the benefits and limitations of Medium, how it has helped us, what we wish it could do, and why other academics might be want to use Medium to get their ideas out into the world. We will also touch on what readers of Medium like, as we can refine our writing strategies.
